REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

 

The Board of Education of the Katonah-Lewisboro Union Free School District will receive individual sealed proposals on or before 12:00 pm Wednesday, January 30, 2019 for the following:

RFP #18/19-05

Operation, Maintenance, Management & Monitoring of the

Katonah-Lewisboro UFSD Wastewater Treatment Facilities

 

Proposing firms may obtain documents after 12:00 pm Tuesday, January 8, 2019 by contacting Karen Carroll at 914-763-7044, kcarroll@klschools.org, by picking them up at the District Office, 60 North Salem Road, Cross River, NY 10518 or  Click Here for a copy of the RFP.

Please read the attached material carefully before submitting your proposal.  Incomplete proposals may not be considered.

Any addendum or amendments to this RFP will be posted on the website when available, please check back here prior to submitting your proposal.

 

There will be a pre-bid meeting and walk through to be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 17, 2019.  Proposing firms will meet at Increase Miller Elementary School, 186 Waccabuc Road, Goldens Bridge, NY 10526 and will then go to Lewisboro Elementary School, 79 Bouton Road, South Salem, NY 10590.  Bidders are encouraged to attend.

The District will receive proposals at the Katonah-Lewisboro District Officce, 60 North Salem Road, Cross River, NY 10518.  Proposals must be plainly marked on the outside in a sealed envelope referencing the provider name, RFP #, RFP name, opening date and opening time.  Proposing firms must use all forms as specified in the RFP documents.  Such proposals must be delivered to Karen Carroll or her designee no later than 12:00 pm Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the District Office address above.  The District will not open or consider any proposal unless it is received at the District Office location above no later than 12:00 pm Wednesday, January 30, 2019.  The Board of Education will not be responsible for the premature opening of any proposal that has not been marked according to above guidelines.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the District reserves the right to reject proposals that contain omissions, exceptions or modifications, or in their sole discretion to waive such irregularities or to reject any proposal which is in the best interest of the District.
