    We are pleased to announce that after almost two years of looking for a tenant for Lewisboro Elementary School, the KLSD Board of Education has reached a tentative agreement with the Town of Lewisboro to rent approximately 20% of the vacant school's space for use as town offices and police headquarters. Parents' Right to Know

In accordance with the federal “No Child Left Behind” legislation, you have the right to request information regarding the professional qualifications of your child’s teachers and paraprofessional staff.  You may request in writing to the principal the following information:

A.    whether the teacher has met State qualifications and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction;
 
B.   whether the teacher is teaching under emergency or other provisional status through which State qualification or licensing criteria have been waived;
 
C.   the baccalaureate degree major of the teacher and any other graduate certification or degree held by the teacher, and the field of discipline of the certification or degree; and
 
D.  whether the child is provided services by paraprofessionals and, if so, their qualifications.
